Derby, Kansas — working nationally

Retail buildouts,done right.

We are a self-perform interior finishes contractor for commercial retail. Our own traveling crews execute the complete finish package — framing through fixture set — for general contractors and retail programs across the country.

  • We work for GCs and for owners who hold their own permits — we are not a general contractor.
  • Our own crews travel to the work — no brokering to a different local sub in every market.
  • Night and off-hours work in occupied stores — trading as normal the next morning.

Where we fit

One finish subcontractor. Every store in the program.

On a multi-site rollout, the hardest part isn't any single trade — it's finding, prequalifying, and managing a different framing, drywall, flooring, and millwork sub in every market, then hoping store 84 looks like store 1.

We remove that problem. Integra Interiors self-performs the entire interior finish package with our own traveling crews. One prequalification. One contract. One crew standard — at every location.

We are not a general contractor. We do not pull permits and we do not perform MEP work. We work as a trade contractor to the GC, or directly for retailers and program managers who hold their own permits and contract the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades separately. That boundary is deliberate — it is exactly how we stay good at finishes.

For general contractors

Bid coverage you can level without surprises. Clear inclusions and exclusions, complete scope letters, and a sub that shows up with the crews it promised at buyout.

For retailers & program managers

A single finish partner across the whole rollout, reporting to your standard, with per-store closeout documentation that arrives the same way every time.

For construction managers

Schedule recovery when the finish trades inherit upstream delay and the grand-opening date has not moved. We add crews and shifts.

Why Integra

Built for programs, not one-offs

Four things a national retail program needs from its finish subcontractor.

Crew continuity across the program

The foreman who learns your prototype's details at the first store carries that knowledge to every store after it. Lessons learned roll forward instead of being re-learned by a stranger in the next market. That is the single biggest reason store 84 matches store 1.

Schedule recovery when it counts

Finish trades sit at the end of the schedule and absorb every upstream delay — while the grand-opening date never moves. We plan for that: added crews, added shifts, and a recovery schedule rather than a change order and an apology.

Occupied-store discipline

Night and off-hours work behind proper temporary barricades and dust containment, sales-floor protection, and daily coordination with store management. Broom-clean and sales-ready before doors open. The store trades the next morning as if nothing happened.

Closeout that doesn't chase you

We self-punch before your punch walk. Per-store turnover packages arrive in the same format every time — photo documentation, as-builts, warranty letters, attic stock logged and left with the store, and lien waivers without a three-week chase.

Project types

Where our crews work

New stores & tenant buildout

Finish package from white box or vanilla shell through fixture-ready turnover, following the GC's shell and core completion.

Remodels & re-images

Refresh, rebrand, conversion, and de-branding programs — phased around trading hours in stores that never close.

Second-generation space

Backfill and adaptive reuse of vacated big-box space, including demolition of existing finishes and the unknowns that come with it.

Multi-site rollouts

Repeatable prototype execution across a program, with one point of contact and consistent reporting regardless of location.

Store resets & fixture programs

Fixture plan and planogram changes, gondola reconfiguration, and owner-furnished fixture installation on a compressed overnight window.

Pilot / first-store builds

The prototype build that sets the template — documented so the rest of the program executes against a proven standard.

How we work

From bid invitation to closeout

A predictable process is what makes a sub easy to carry across a hundred stores. Here is ours.

Bid & scope review

We bid to your form with explicit inclusions, exclusions, qualifications, and clarifications — so scope leveling on bid day is apples to apples, not a negotiation.

Prequalification & award

COI and endorsements, W-9, safety documentation, and references furnished on request. We onboard to your compliance portal at no cost to the program.

Preconstruction & submittals

Submittals, shop drawings, and field verification against the prototype and finish schedule. Long-lead items identified before they become the critical path.

Mobilization

Crews deploy from our Kansas base with their own tooling. Licensing and registration for a new jurisdiction is handled as part of mobilization, not after award.

Execution & reporting

Daily reports and photo documentation in your format. One program manager as your single point of contact across every location.

Punch, turnover & closeout

We self-punch first. Then final walkthrough, standardized per-store turnover package, attic stock, warranty letters, and final lien waivers.
